Land title and inheritance are handled at the municipality. A transfer row is read before two witnesses; an inheritance row points to the closing row. In a boundary dispute the ledger prevails; a boundary not in the ledger cannot be claimed. This service is carried out only at Valen record offices. No online application is taken.
